Founded
in 1994, Everglades
Outpost Wildlife Refuge and Rescue
dedicates itself to ensuring the future
of both native and exotic wildlife.
Calls for wildlife rescues from residential
areas are received on a daily basis.
Since we are a Not for Profit organization
501 (c) (3), all of our staff volunteer
their time. We also depend on monetary
donations to keep Everglades Outpost
in operation.
Everglades Outpost
feeds, shelters, and nurtures our animals.
We also provide educational opportunities
for school groups and local civic groups.
Field experience trips are also available
for both schools and civic organizations.
Everglades Outpost is open at designated
times for self-guided tours. You may
even choose to “adopt” or
sponsor an individual animal for a
year and provide support. The South
Florida region is in the throes of
residential development and many of
our indigenous injured animals are
here because of this massive development.
Native or indigenous species are relocated
upon their recovery to good health. |
