Sad to say that BUC, PEACHES, TONKA and JD have now moved to OUTPOST NORTH in Okeechobee.  I'm sure we will  all miss them.

If we want to keep the OUTPOST SOUTH going we will need some responsible people to take over.  These people will determine the future of the Outpost. There are 16 shifts a week that need to be filled, each shift will take an hour or  at the most two, except for the front desk..  Basically,  all the remaining animals must be fed and there living areas cleaned.  Figure we need a morning and afternoon shift each day and someone to watch the desk on the weekends.  In the future we should  train to rehab local wildlife.  (one idea=The early shift will do the water and bird seed and the afternoon the carnivores and the fruit?)

We really have a chance to make the future at the Outpost rewarding and our work fruitful to the benefit of local and exotic animals in need.  Please get involved if you can reliably give time each week and be responsible to our tenets.
