Tasha is a female arctic/timber wolf and approximately 11 years old.  Her parents were confiscated by fish and game and she was born in captivity.  For the past two years (since being paired with the male Mukai, a wolf rescue), allowing nature to run its course, the possibility of Tasha having wolf pups seemed very real.  As recently as March, 2009, we thought Tasha was pregnant as she was exhibiting several signs of pregnancy, including digging of several dens in her enclosure; sadly, a blood test has proven that she was not.
