The Everglades Outpost is a non for profit wildlife refuge located in the heart of Homestead, Florida. We are on your way to the Florida Keys, less than a mile from the Everglades National Park,
and even closer to the ever so popular ROBERT IS HERE fruit stand.

We are open to visitors for a nominal, one-day membership fee/donation. The membership fees help offset the cost of food, care, and maintenance for the animals of the Everglades Outpost. We are consistently taking in new animals to care for both permanently and temporarily, therefore a yearly membership is highly recommended for those who wish to visit more frequently. We guarantee you will fall in love with our facility if not one of our furry (or scaly) family members!

During your visit, get up close with tigers, Florida panthers, bears, alligators, king cobras, and more! Learn about their stories, specie background, and interesting character traits. Depending upon our rescues and current residents during your time of visit, our visitors are occasionally greeted by a live tiger cub upon entering our premises. You just never know what you'll run into. Without a doubt, Marlon the cockatoo will be there to greet you! We hope to see you soon!
